Almond Cake Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Butter
- 2 Cups White Sugar
- 6 Eggs
- 1¾ Cup Maida Flour
- ½ Tsp Salt
- 2 Tsp Almond Extract
- 8 Ounces Almond Paste
- 1 Cup Confectioners' Sugar
- 4 Tbsp Milk
- ½ Cup Blanched Almonds
- 2 Drops Red Food Coloring
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix butter and sugar together until well mixed. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until mixture is light. Blend in flour and salt. Mix almond extract. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake for 60 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Decorate with almond paste. Give required food coloring. Mix 1 cup confectioners' sugar and milk in a bowl. When the cake has cooled, drizzle with the confectioners' sugar glaze. Top with blanched almonds. Now you can serve.
