Banana Apple Oats Porridge is a healthy dish best for breakfast. The broken wheat, Oats, Banana and apples this is the perfect ingredients to start your day. The Banana Apple Oats Porridge is highly nutrient rich and delicious. Pan frying the broken wheat and Oats can remove the raw smell of grains and the cinnamon, apples and banana adds the aroma and flavour to the dish.
The Porridge is good to start a morning which have high energy and also have good amount of calcium, protein and fibre in it.
To make this dish you need a cup of sliced banana, half cup of unpeeled apple which is washed well and cut in to pieces, broken wheat which is washed and drained, quick cooking rolled oats, low fat milk, low fat butter, powdered sugar and cinnamon powder.
As said before we need to fry the oats and wheat to remove its raw smell.
Banana Apple Oats Porridge Recipe

- Banana sliced - 1 cup
- Apple sliced - 1/2 cup
- Broken Wheat - 1/4 cup
- Oats - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Butter - 2 table spoon
- Sugar powdered - as required
- Cinnamon powder - 1/4 table spoon
Heat the broken wheat and oats in a pressure cooker for low flame with butter for 2-3 minutes. Add Milk and 1 cup of water, mix well and cook it till 2 whistles. Allow steam to escape before opening the lid then after opening add cinnamon powder, mix it well and cool it for 1 hour in refrigerator. Before serving add banana and apple and mix it well.
