Beef Fry
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- Thinly sliced coconut - ½ a cup
- Shallots cut into two - 1 cup
- Coriander powder - 3 tbsp
- Chilli powder - 2 tsp
- Black pepper powder - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
- Garam masala - 2-3 tsp
- Fresh ginger, chopped - 4-5 cm
- Garlic cloves, chopped - 10 no.
- Salt
Instructions:
When the beef is well marinated, cook it in a pressure cooker with 200 ml of water until it becomes soft . If there is water left over after the meat is done, cook with the lid open on a high flame till the water has completely evaporated. Pour three to four tablespoons of coconut oil and saute two medium-sized onions, slices and a few curry leaves. Then add the cooked beef into it. Fry on a medium flame until the meat turns brown.
