Brighten your skin with Rice water

The secret to glowing, youthful and healthy skin, is washing face with rice water. Rice water (also fermented rice water) is one of the major beauty secret of Chinese and Japanese women.

Rice water contains beneficial minerals and vitamins like B1, C, and E which can tighten skin and shrink pores as well as make skin softer and brighter looking. It also promotes skin cell growth, stimulates blood flow, and slows down the aging process.

You can reap the benefits of it by following this simple procedure. You will need:

Ingredients:

  • Airtight container for storage
  • Raw rice, 1 cup
  • Water

Direction:

Soak rice in water and wash as required. Next, discard this water as it contains dirt and impurities.
Boil one cup of rice in water.  Once the rice is cooked, strain it and keep the water in an airtight container.
Keep the rice water and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. You can now use rice water as a toner or rinse your face once a day for glowing and healthy looking skin.
