Classic peanut butter cookies Recipe
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- Granulated sugar
Instructions:
Combine brown sugar, butter and peanut butter in bowl. Beat on medium speed until well mixed. Now add egg and vanilla and continue beating. Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and baking powder and beat at low speed. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Shape dough into 1 inch balls then roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets; flatten balls in criss-cross pattern with fork dipped in sugar. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.Then transfer the cookies to a rack and allow to cool completely.
