Flower Show at Kochi from 12-02-2015 to 18-02-2015

The 33rd edition of Cochin Flower show will starts from 12-02-2015 Thursday. The One week lasting event have being organised by Agri-Horticulture Society of Ernakulam. Excise Minister K.Babu will inaugurate the show on thursday at 5 pm.Mayor Tony Chammany will deliver the keynote address.

The Expo will display about 20,000 flowering plants and their theme based floral design studio. The Expo also have seminars on Gardening Trends and Techniques.

There are unique varieties of plants where brought from locations such as China, Thailand, Bangalore, Sultan Bathery. Around 2,000 species of plants including Rose, Anthurium, Orchids, Marigold, chrysanthemum, dahlia and a wide collection of vegetable & fruiting plants also been arranged as part of this Expo.

Paul George, Honorary Secretary said that the Organisers are planned to distribute free plantain saplings to visitors. Another highlight of the event is the Fashion Show by School children on the Valentines Day.

The show is open for visitors from 9 am to 9 pm on every day. And conclude on February 18.
