The main reasons for body heat are Wearing tight or artificial clothing may trap water and results decrease in heat, Strenuous workout or physical exercise, Excess contact with sun can also result in high body temperature. In order to reduce heat from our body Avoid fatty and fried foods , Stay away from caffeine & alcohol and Use Coconut or Olive herbal oil for cooking.

Foods to reduce body heat are

Watermelon:

Watermelon contains almost 95% of water and  results reducing body heat immediately. And also it contains loads of vitamins A and C, has no fat. Watermelon prevents cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Coconut  water:

 Coconut water helps in naturally balancing out the electrolytes in addition to regulating the body temperature. So it  re-hydrate our body.

Butter Milk:

Drinking buttermilk in Summer helps in providing your body with required probiotics, minerals and vitamins that may be depleted on account of excessive sweat.

Citrus Fruits:

Citrus fruits, include oranges, grapefruit, lemons and limes. Citrus fruits can keep our health. It contains phytonutrients that function as antioxidants, including flavonoids, anthocyanins, polyphenols and vitamin C. So it helps to reduce our body heat.

Cucumber:

Cucumber has  high water content. Cucumber has long been praised for its medicinal properties. It has a diuretic property, which acts to flush toxins out of the body and maintain healthy tissue and skin. Cucumber is extremely low in calories and has minimal amounts of sugar, carbohydrates and fats. Cucumber contains significant amounts of vitamin B, phosphorus, calcium, zinc and other minerals.

Cardamom is one of the best way to reduce our body temperature. We can add cardamom in your tea as well as add as a flavoring agent in sweets and savory dishes.
