This extension works when once user install it from Chrome Web app store, the blue button will make sure that their computer’s speakers are on full volume and another computer in the vicinity will pickup the sound and the URL will be displayed on the other’s Chrome Browser. Then the user who received the link can open it by clicking the link.
Google Official Blog report the news Tuesday about this and the post reads :
Tone grew out of the idea that while digital communication methods like email and chat have made it infinitely easier, cheaper, and faster to share things with people across the globe, they’ve actually made it more complicated to share things with the people standing right next to you. Tone aims to make sharing digital things with nearby people as easy as talking to them.
While using the Tone user should note that Speaker and Mic is turned on.
