Gooseberry Pickle Recipe
Ingredients:
  • gooseberry (Amla/ Nellikai) - 1/2 kg
  • Salt - 4-5 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Sesame oil - 4 tblsp
  • Red Chilly Powder - 5 tbsp
  • Asafoetida - 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
Instructions:
Boil gooseberries in 1/2 cup of water with salt.Boil till it becomes soft. In a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Switch off the pan and add asafoetida and red chilly powder. Add this to the prepared gooseberries. Keep it for 3 days and serve.
