Hot and Sour Soup

This delicious classic chinese hot and sour soup can be prepared in 30 mins and will be a starter pack for your dinner.

  • Chicken Stock - 750ml
  • Fresh Mushroom Sliced - 200gm
  • Bamboo Shoots - 50gm
  • Boneless chicken fillets - 500gm
  • Fresh Ginger - 3 Slice
  • Garlic - 3 Cloves crushed
  • Soya Sauce - 2 table spoon
  • Dried crushed chillies - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Sesame Oil - 1 table spoon
  • Green Onions Chopped - 2 Nos
  • Vinegar - 3 tablespoons
  • Cornflour - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 nos
  • Water - 100ml
Take a fry pan then combine chicken stock, water, mushroom, bamboo shoots, root ginger, garlic, soy sauce and crushed chillies. Boil the Ingredients and reduce the heat to low and assemble the rest of the ingredients. Place the chicken fillets into a bowl and toss it with sesame oil to coat, stir it with cornflour and vinegar and set aside. Heat the pan to a rolling boil and add chicken and egg into boiling mixture and stir a while to create long strands of egg. Stir the vinegar and cornflour. sim over medium heat and stir well. Cook for 3 minutes and garnish with spices.
