Micromax announced the latest budget centric smartphone Canvas Xpress 2, a device priced at Rs.5999/- which is exclusively available in Flipkart. In this budget this phone is a perfect competitor for Xiaomi Redmi 2, Moto E and other same range smartphones.
The Product registration will started on yesterday evening 6pm onwards and sold through flash sale, starting from 4th August from 2pm onwards.
This budget phone comes with powerful 1.4 GHz Octacore MediaTek MT6592M SoC which is comparable to Snapdragon 410 SoC in terms of performance. The device features 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with 32GB expandable option. And its preloaded with Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS which can expect a Lollipop roll out soon.
The device has 5″ HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection. On the Camera front the phone has a 13MP Main Camera with a OV Sensor, which is packed in a 5 piece largan lens with blue glass filter and the 2MP front shooter.
On the build the phone covers with matte finish back and metal finish plastic on sides and there is also a 2500 mAh battery underneath which will live upto 9.5 hours talk time.
