Moto Z Play with 5.5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM

Motorola is expected to announce a new addition to the Moto Z Family before the start of IFA 2016 . The phone is will be the cheaper device in the compared with other and it’s recent listing on GFXBench seems to suggest the same. Moto Z is powered by an octa-core SoC with Adreno 506 graphics, which points towards the Snapdragon 625. Standard Moto Z and Moto Z Force are powered by the Snapdragon 820.

The phone will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The upcoming Motorola phone may also sport 16MP memory and 5MP cameras, and run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1.

A few days ago, images allegedly of the Moto Z Play were posted online. Judging by the images, the phone will have a design similar to the other Moto Z smartphones, including the protruding rear camera module and the magnetic connectors for the Moto Mods. However, the Moto Z Play is expected to a glass rear panel instead of the metal back used on the other two Moto Z phones.
