Neyyappam Recipe
  • Rice Flour- 1/2 kg
  • Jaggery - 1/4 kg
  • Baking soda
  • Chopped coconut - 100 gm
In order to make neyyappam, first we have to make thick jaggery solution. In a pan, fry chopped coconut in gee and keep aside. Grind both jaggery solution and rice flour. Then we have to add all chopped coconut, baking soda and cardomom powder if needed. Mix all the ingredients together and keep it for minimum 4 hours. In a pan, Heat oil and pour small quantities(the size of a cookie) into the oil and deep fry till it becomes golden color.
