Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge launching India on Monday

Samsung to launch its all new flagship models , the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Monday in India. The both phone has taken a quantum leap in design compare to other models and also given some features to enhance the user experience. The devices are now boast of metal and glass.

Apart of Dual Edge Display designs both Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are similar specification. Galaxy S6 Edge puts the edges to good use with the assigning colours for specific callers, shortcuts to apps and notifications make the S6 Edge slightly higher smarter experience than Galaxy S6. Both the device sports a similar display size, camera and most of all other features, especially the UI, bigger battery will he higher than other models in same price range. Design

Most the samsung users have complaining about the usage of cheap materials in Samsung Premium series smartphones and for years Samsung is also trying few innovations to shut the complains, only now a satisfactory review came from the users about the quality of built ware. Finally the S series got replace the leather back with Glass and sides with metal  and now it look premium and more durable. And the Dual edge S Edge has a great design which is new for the customers and slight bit different.

Display

The Galaxy S6 Series feature a 5.1 inch 2K display rendering 2560 x 1440 pixel display and also have 572 ppi density which is higher than 326 ppi display of iPhone in AMOLED Display.

Camera

Samsung maintained the 16MP sensor camera seen in Galaxy Note 4 with useful updates. Samsung improve the lens and its faster than previous models. The S6 sports with larger aperture f/1.9 lens which can capture more light thus the low light photography also give better photos. And samsung also features 5MP front facing camera with same f/1.9 lens for better images.

Processor & Memory

Samsung S6 series have Exynos 7 Octa-core processor which contain two Quad core processor clocked at 2.1GHz and 1.5GHz respectively. The devices sport Super fast 3GB LP DDR4 RAM which run without too many lag. Also the device have inbuilt 16GB, 32GB models and there is no pull out support for MicroSD cards.

OS & UI

Samsung Galaxy S6 series retain the TouchWiz UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The TouchWiz UI bid goodbye to S Voice or S Finder, and you can find the new entrants Microsoft OneDrive and OneNote instead of that also the the S6 Edge can find few more UI feature compared to Galaxy S6.

Everything Goes Wireless

Everything goes wireless in S6 Series right from Wireless Charging to Wireless payment the device is made for smart people.s. The 2550 mAh non removable battery which can be full charged in an hour can also charge wireless with the charging pad. Also like Apple Pay, Galaxy S6 have Samsung pay feature which is basically a NFC technology called Magnetic Secure Transmission.

Price & Availablity

The Galaxy S6 devices expected to start shipping only by April and the pricing is not yet revealed. Samsung site has listed the Galaxy S6 32GB for €699 which is equivalent to Rs.48,400 and the 64GB version for €799 (Rs.55,300). The S6 Edge 32GB version spotted at €849 (Rs.58,800) and the 64GB version for €949 (Rs.65,700).

And price of 128GB version of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is not mentioned on the site.
