Chakka Erissery is the special dish of vishu sadhya, It's easy to cook & very tasty.

Ingredients:
  • Chakka pieces- 3 Cup
  • Chakka seeds- 1 Cup
  • Coconut -1 Cup
  • Turmeric Powder-1 Tea Spoon
  • Chilly Powder-1 Tea Spoon
  • Mustard- 1 Tea Spoon
  • Curry Leaves- Few
  • Coconut Oil-3 Tea Spoon
  • Salt- As required
Instructions:
The Chakka pieces & Chakka seeds are cut into small pieces, Cook it with salt & some water.Then add the turmeric powder,chilly powder into it and mix well.Heat the pan with coconut oil add mustard, grated coconut and curry leaves.When the coconut color changed to reddish it added to the chakka mixture, Then mix well .
