Chocolate stars in this special Valentine dessert. Instead of rolling out a pie crust, this recipe uses a light, flavorful meringue for the crust.

2 egg’s white.
1/4 teaspoon tartar cream
3/4 cup Sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
4-ounce or 1 bar baking chocolate, chips.
2 cups whipping cream
1 tablespoon brandy
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Milk chocolate chips.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Beat egg whites, tartar cream, and salt for 1 minute. Gradually beat in the sugar until stiff peaks form. fold in 1 teaspoon of the vanilla. Spoon meringue into a well-oiled pie shape plate to form a shell. Bake at least one hour then Cool. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and 1/4 cup of the whipping cream until smooth at 30 seconds gap. Stir in the brandy. Beat 3/4 cup of the whipping cream and gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture. Pour mixture into cooled meringue shell and refrigerate. Beat the remaining 1 cup of whipping cream with the powdered sugar and the remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over the top of chilled pie. Garnish with milk chocolate chips. Refrigerate until served.
