Onam Special Olan
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- beans- 3/4 cup
- Ash gourd (kumbalanga) – 1.5 cups,
- Pumpkin – 1.5 cup
- Green chilli – 3
- Thin coconut milk – 1.5 cup
- Water
- thick coconut milk – 1/2cup
- Curry leaves – 2-3 sprigs
- Oil
- Salt
Instructions:
Boil the beans with 2.5 cups of water. Drain water, when it become half cooked. Add cooked beans with pumkin, ash gourd, green chilli, salt and thin coconut water. Then cook until ash gourd becomes tender. Now you can add thick coconut milk and curry leaves. Reduce the flame and cook for 20 minutes. Now remove it from flame and add 2 tablespoon of oil and mix it well.
